THE RING OF FIRE McFauld's Lake, Ontario (Metal Belt)
WHITE PINE RESOURCES
White Pine Resources Inc. (formerly WSR Resources Inc.) is a resource exploration company engaged in the exploration and development of key assets of over 25,000 hectares in the prolific 'Ring of Fire' discovery camp situated in the James Bay Lowlands of Ontario, Canada.
Through key joint ventures with Noront Resources, Metalex Ventures and Golden Valley Mines, White Pine Resources has been aggressively exploring highly prospective ground on the Ring of Fire in 2008, and will continue in 2010. This aggressive approach has rewarded White Pine with an important high grade Zn-Cu-Ag discovery with the Metalex joint venture called the 501. Multiple Zn-Cu-Ag discoveries around the 501 in the Golden Valley-Noront joint venture claim group has shown that this area of the Ring of Fire holds potential for a significant base metal discovery and has elevated White Pine to one of a few successful exploration companies in the Ring of Fire along with the Eagle One Ni-Cu-PGE deposit of Noront Resources.
Along with the property holdings in James Bay, White Pine Resources has acquired a gold property in the Boston Creek gold camp, located south of Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
White Pine hopes to continue to add to its success in 2010, with exploration programs scheduled for all land holdings.
